Sparco

I have been trying to find a deal, but with no luck. I dont know if they have a fixed price or what. I have tried several vendors w/o any luck. I don't mind paying a fair price but sometimes it is expensivie. I have a friend that I get my PSS9's from at cost, and he's going to try to get the Milano for me. We'll see. Good luck.

Hard to find a deal.

They are pretty much the same everywhere. I paid 2600 for a pair with the brackets. Sometimes you get lucky and find them on ebay but not for much less. Good luck, they are a great seat.

I understand the "Black Hole" statement. Are your seats "Works" or is that something you did custom?

How bad would it be to buy only one? That way I get the comfort and only I take the risk of not having the airbag.....not to mention save $1600. If I can't stand it I can buy the other one later.

Personal decision.

If it were me, it would drive me crazy to see only one. But that is just me. I like things finished. Someone here is running just one Sparco. It didn't look bad, just not for me. Not much help am I?

im thinking the EXACT same problem...

well.. depends on the look you want, if its a 'race car' look then why even bother looking for aesthetics?

im doing one... mainly to save money, but also because i get penalized for a seat.... light weight or not...

ive also thought about a more hard-core seat like this yet im not sure will they be comfy enough for long hauls to the track

Just remember that if you ever plan on doing track days with an instructor, you MUST have two of the same front seats in the car, along with the same seat belts. Just keep this in mind.

not to derail the discussion, but were those of you with aftermarket seats able to successfully defeat the airbag warning light on the dash after install?

Hey Bob...I got mine through Synergymotors at Ebay:smile: If Polly is still around, ask for her...she's great help

mini d...you've got one hella interior

There are many threads related to the airbag defeat technique. Basically, it involves wiring up a 3 ohm resistor to fool the system into believing that the airbags are still in place

Try: autotoystore.com

Guys name is Jim. I've bought stuff from him before and he's very helpful. He'll do as good or better than anyone else on price. At least that's what I found. He's also a classic Mini owner! (or was last time I talked to him)

ripley.

Btw he has the "Sparco Milano" listed on his site, not the "Sparco Milano Prestige". I will drop him a mail and see what he can get the Prestige for.....
