Cooper S side skirts

Does anyone know if the black side skirts from an '05 S convertible will fit on an '03 regular Cooper?
Thanks

I know that the pre-05 skirts were interchangable....i dont see why the 05's would be any different.

I'll do that tomorrow. I agree, they are very helpful and their prices are the best for OEM parts.

I called Classic and the '05 S convertible skirts have a different part number than other S skirts. Hmmm, wonder what the difference is?

hmmm only thing i could think of is maybe they have different connection points? They certainly arent different looking.

Maybe the next question is whether or not the MC convert. has different skirts from the other versions....if so maybe the convert. side skirts are interchangable?

Do they look different than previous years? I plead ignorance there. I'll have a pair of 03 S skirts for sale middle to end of next week (when my aero skirts arrive ).

Today I looked at the MCS convertible side skirts. They have an additional few cutouts on the underside to clear some added on body strengthening pieces. Should go on a Cooper as easily as regular MCS skirts. I'll buy them and the new clips needed for attachment. And I'll post here, if there are any problems adding them.

I'm still having a hard time understanding why you want skirts from a convertible. Your Cooper is a hard top right? If the skirts of the MCS hard top and convertible look the same, why not get the ones for the hard top? Am I missing something here?

Sorry: we have a regular Cooper and the side skirts are rather "flat." The Cooper S skirts have a slight "curviness" that, to me, looks a little better. I want to add the Cooper S skirts to our regular Cooper. The ones I have available are from a Cooper S convertible.

Ah, I see... you're asking about convertible skirts because they are available and MCS coupe skirts are not. Gotcha

I have a set of S skirts

I have a set of S skirts available. They were taken off the car AT DELIVERY for installation of the Aero kit, so are in impeccable condition. $45 for the pair, + shipping to your location, if you're interested.

PM me if you are

Thanks anywho, but I purchased the convertible skirts locally. Did you post these in the Marketplace section? Good luck.

Out of curiosity, if you don't mind my asking, how much did you pay for your skirts? (I'm trying to get a feel for how reasonable (or not) my asking price is) Thanks.

I finally completed this subtle change:
Purchased a set of Cooper S convertible side skirts ($40) and added them to our 03 Cooper:
