Has anyone come across any info/tutorial on removing the front windshield cowl panel?
Shamefully, I am going to admit that I put a couple of small dents in the left side cowl from trying to pry off a stuck windshield wiper arm.
I was mindful enough to have placed a wadded up t-shirt under the prying tool to prevent potential damage but....the arm was really stuck and the cushion wasn't sufficient enough to avoid small dents.
Repairing the dents is not a problem for me. Spreading top filler to fill the divots is not my preferred approach.
Paintless dent puller won't/doesn't work in this situation.
I've anti-seized the splines on the wiper arms so now they are easily removed.
I would prefer to remove the entire cowl panel. I'm still in the process hunting down the last remaining hidden(?) bolts.
Any help on how to remove the panel would be appreciated.

Reason: "i" before "e"...except after "c"
Came across a (albeit, painfully long) video that shows the six hidden/hard to get to bolts that supports the cowl.
Looks like a lot of work to remove but worth the time and effort (IMO), to do it right.
Still hoping someone who has removed the cowl before will chime in with any tips or tricks.
No. Camera work was bad and too painfully long to watch again or bookmark. I'd resided to rely on memory.
Realoem.com was of little help. This link from an eBay cowl listing might visually help to see how many attachment points there are.
In addition to the engine bay mounting points; it appears that the scuttle side panels, outside 'A' pillar panels, lower windshield trim (belt line), wiper motor (?) and perhaps the engine bay plastic divider will have to be removed to afford access to the securing fasteners as I've indicated in the above image.
This looks like it is going to be a job for the coming Fall season for me - (too hot right now).

Went ahead and too the cowl off of a junkyard mini so I can replace my damaged cowl, and it was a lot easier than you think. Don't really need to remove anything too big or heavy. Took me about an hour to do, including taking off the a panels.
Pretty much all 10mm nuts, and i think a couple T30. You'll need about a 12" extension to get to the nuts underneath the cowl. But, that's about it. Pretty straightforward job.
The chrome trim underneath the window will have to come off too by the way! I ended up breaking all the clips that held the trim on lol
Interesting.
I've pulled my wiper arms off several times during the course of ownership without the aid/need for tools.
Coincidentally; I have a similar small size gear/race puller as shown in your link.
It escapes me as to why it didn't cross my mind to dig it out and use it?

Thanks for saving us all the watching of that video! Not all heroes wear capes, they say.
