Aero Kit and Chrome Grills

I like the looks of the Aero Kit and what it does over the stock parts. But I don't care for the black grilles. IMHO they make the car look too "Tuna-ed" or Riced". Is there a way to use the stock chrome grilles off the MC with the AeroKit?

can't believe i missed this one...

anyway, yes it can be done. The bottom grill has to be custom done. We had a bodyshop build a foundation and insert the grill into it, because the pocket on the aero kit is deeper then the stock pocket.

Here's a pic..

WOW! Beautiful! IMHO this is the way BMW should have released the MINI! p.s. At first glance I thought it was all black, then I just barely saw the tinge of green making it BRG!

Amazing isn't it. The factory Aero Kit gives that "Bold Race Car Look" yet the chrome grilles give it the classic Mini Character.

Definately not "Tuna" or "Rice"

no_affiliation,

Do you have a side shot of the green Cooper? I am going to paint my wheel arches and lower front/rear lips black to keep the contrast with the Pure Silver, but am trying to decide between black standard side skirts, black aero side skirts, PS standard skirts, or PS aero skirts.

Another possibility would be to have the aero grill chromed. A member at MINI2 (I forget his name) did so, and it looked really good (IMO):
