Accent color on orange cooper s

I'm thinking of painting the brakes center caps and the chrome bar on the grille an accent color. Normally red would would be the color of choice but on the volcanic orange I think it would look odd. Anyone have any pictures that prove this wrong?

I was thinking blue might look good but it might be a little too "let's go mets" looking.
The British racing green could work or it might make it look like the grand pumpkin.

I cant win. I could always play it safe and just go black.

Hmm that's a thought. I was thinking of doing the grey and black checkered mirror caps I could paint the chrome strip on the grille gray to match.

I really wanted something to paint the brakes.but the gray might work

I've been having the same problem trying to decide with my VO as well; except my roof is white which gives me even less pictures to work with.

Can’t see them, but the brake calipers are red as well.

That's exactly what I wanted to see the red looks good. If you could get a side shot I'd love to see that

I like the black on the lower front bumper and fog lights. Is that painted that way or a trim piece?

I really want to find a grill to cover the fogs and have them shine through. Has anyone seen anything like that done before?

Thanks! I don’t have a full-on side shot, but here’s a different 3/4 view that shows more of the side. The black is actually Plasti Dip. I do plan to have it painted, but I wanted to see if I liked it first. The JCW Challenge cars were the inspiration. I also attached a pic of the back, so you can see that I did the same treatment on the rear lower valance. You can see the red calipers in the pics.

Thank you I love the red brakes and front grille.

I will get to work on that when it's a little warmer.

I love the fog light surround too. I'll have to add that to the project list.

Was it hard to get the lights out and paint in there?
Did you take the whole bumper off?
