We traded in my wife’s 2015 F55 back in March, and well her new F56 was just to plan Jane for her.... we have had it at our paint shop making it a bit different. Here are a couple pictures of it after paint. Waiting to pick it up till tomorrow. First one was the before everything midnight black, now roof, stripes, hood scoop and mirror caps a special blend just for my wife. Car still needs to be wet sanded and buffed but DAMN it turned out amazing! My wife designed the layout of everything and I put the decals on prior to paint.
The cost was super reasonably, I do all my paint work with him, you couldn’t find this quality for the price I paid. I have had him do all three of out cars, mine he fixed my hood, my daughters he fixed the deer damage. I tell everyone I know to check him out if they need anything so my cost is a bit cheaper then most. Once it gets a bit more cure he is going to wet sand a bit more so you can barley feel the stripes. We are driving to Ohio tomorrow so we have to be careful with soft paint
Looks really good, just the right amount of accent without being overdone IMHO! Wet sanding will bring down the raised edges, which naturally occurs against the tape edges and make the close-ups look even better. Surprised your guy didn't 'bake' your paint so he could have wet sanded before your trip. Safe travels on your trip.
