I found a leather arm rest being sold by Mini-Mania. Also found a "storage pocket" being sold by Got-Mini. Can anyone provide any first hand feedback on either of these items? Wife has offered to buy me a couple of Christmas presents so I'm looking for a couple of nice interior items for my Cooper. Thanks.

I've got the bolster style arm rest (purchased on Ebay for $40). I believe it is the one from Mini-Mania ($79.95). It is quite sufficient. There is no mounting, just place it inbetween the seats. I've had it for two months, and it doesn't move. Plenty of room for your passenger's arm as well. Of course, when pulling the seats forward, it has to be removed, but hey, I didn't buy the car because I like toting around 3 other people... so it's not an issue unless you are in and out of the back seat multiple times per day.

Also, the leather of the arm rest was a little darker than the leatherette inthe Mini. From other postings, I have heard that Mini-Mani has addressed this, and is currently using a fabric that better matches the Mini interior.

The dash pocket thingie is really cool. I have mine stuffed with my cell phone, garage door opener, altoid mints and some other assorted goodies. The stuff stays in place beautifully even under hard cornering (something I test often)

I ordered the one from RSPEED that has a leather top and metal base. It mounts to the rear cup holder. It also has a storage compartment under the leather portion. Check it out at this link. [/url] RSPEED

Love my hotpocket thingy that goes in front of the shifter below the center console. There's so much more available space in which to toss things: cellphone, wallet, receipts, lighter, etc.

I'm very interested in buying an armrest with the storage cubby, too...but am waiting until someone makes it in panther black CLOTH. Any merchants out there listening?!?!?!?

I used the door pocket while I was waiting for my hotpocket to arrive. My cell phone made all sorts of noise in there.

My new hotpocket is perfect!

Thanks in advance.

Here's the link.

The picture doesn't show it perfectly, but it's a flexible fabric pocket that comes with velcro and sticky tape to stick into the hole under the toggle switches. It works great for keeping small stuff (gum, phone, wallet, some MINI Smints) from flying around the car. I got mine about a week and a half after I ordered it.

>> It even comes with the felt to cover up the screws in the cup holder. What a great addition. I highly recommend this to all. Thanks Peter from RSPEED for another great mod.

I'm with you on that one. Not too sure how nice a leather armrest would look with cloth seats, but it is a fantastic idea, hope someone takes care of that request soon!

Peter are you planning on selling the 'Hot Pocket" ? If not I guess I'll have to get it from Got Mini.
