Functionality:
- The MINI LED daytime running light three different functions: daytime running lights, position lights, and fog lights. The daytime running lights is represented by a full circle fiber optic, light position by using the upper third of the circle. The front fog lamp shines in LED reflector technology as a full circle, which is separated by a ridge.
- The light is mounted in the existing space of the front fog lamp and uses the existing mounting points.
- The intelligent control unit DRL is generated even though the vehicle has no daytime running lights as standard.
- The new daytime running light function is activated by a simple reversal setting in the on-board computer: The previous setting will disable daytime running lights and thus activates the LED daytime running lights on the vehicle ignition.

This is exactly what I'm looking for! Especially as our new addition is half way across the pond!

 

Just called my local dealer here in Canada. 610$ and he says they can't order it here. But he could from the USA

 

And my dealer here in the US said he could not order it. Man that's a lot of coin for a couple of lights.

 

I am a little confused with the settings on the onboard computer, according to the literature it allows it even if the car does not have the settings, however my car has it, and you can enable or disable it through the Onboard computer, wonder if this will conflict with the module.

 

I'd rather get the Outmotoring LED lights. About half the price.

The installation guide says to disable the DRL in the computer. These are basically wired to operate like always-on running lights.

 

If only they were available.

 

They will be in a few weeks. Aaron said they are testing a new batch.
