Where did you get your stripes installed and for how much?
I am looking to get some vinyl stripes professionally installed on the forums I read some people who got charge between $50.00 - $300.00. I can't find a good average number. Where did you get your stripes installed and for how much? Would a regular tint shop do a good job with this? Are there any good places you recommend in NJ, PA, BE, NY?

I had mine done by the dealer before delivery. They can also do it after delivery. Most sign and graffic shops do striping or look for a race shop in your area. They do sponsorship decals, logos and graffics. Alot of stripes are "off the roll" and can be done inexpensively.
Dealer here too prior to Delivery, in fact when we went to meet Molly, 1 week prior to taking delivery, they were already installed, may have been done at the VDC??

Mine were factory installed but I ended up extending them down all the way to the front lip and rear diffuser myself. I checked with a local shop that does this kind of work prior and they wanted about $150 including material. Keep in mind that was only for about 2.5' of total striping.
DIY. Got my roof and bonnet "viper"(2 rows in middle) style stripes for $80 at local sign shop. Make sure you read up on vinyl types/quality though. You do not want the cheapest vinyl. Airlock(or whatever the fancy term is) technology actually made install easier as there's small holes on the vinyl itself so any air bubbles trapped work themselves out over a day or so. Alternatively I've jut pricked the bubble with a pin to work the air out.
If you have any type of solid motor skills you will likely do a fine job DIY'ing it. For my MINI I figured I'd give it a shot when I swapped out the old faded factory ones. I found a very cool Carbon Fiber Stripe on ebay(I know I know), but it turned out that the quality was actually very good and I get compliments on the stripes all the time. I actually laugh sometimes when I here what others paid for their stripes - bought more mods with the $ I saved. Also, you can get good stuff for well under a hundred dollars. This gives you several failed attempts as a buffer where you can still come out ahead
kidding, sort of
In all seriousness, it wasnt that difficult, but that was just me - you have to decide what type of skills you have. If your concern is lining them up - dont be - blue painters tape works wonders for a straight edge to work off of and allows you to properly space them.
Heres a pic a took of my DIY'd stripes last year (before I went a little plastidip crazy on the chrome
)
