Does the black part have the same texture as the black on the dash. Did you get the left and right vent pods?

WOW! that looks alot better.I love the texture that matches the dash. that should tone down the mickey mouse look. cannot wait to see it installed. im probably gonna have to get those if they are as cheap as what you paid countryman2b.

So just to confirm, has anyone found these available for order in the US yet? My local dealer's still showing them unavailable for order, and neither ECS or Sewell are stocking them yet.

They have to be available, right? Like- what if 2013 CMS owner needed one replaced under warranty. Would the dealer really conclude that there was no fix available? Doubtful.

Went to my local dealer yesterday and was shown that one dealer in the us was receiving the speedo trim on the 21st and that I should come back in beginning of march.

My dealer called me yesterday saying they can order the three parts Mickey, left pod and right pod and installed for 370. Chrome shift ring installed for 90.

Hey ECS- I see that the mickey (51459810000) is now available through your site, but still no luck on the matching vent covers. Do you have any ETA on those components? I'd like to order everything together.

Thanks!

JoshKnot -

http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/51459810000/ this is available at this particular time.

The other Piano Black piece are going to become available in the short future. Such as the driver and passenger side vents in piano black.

Thanks for the questions and we hope we can help.

Hujan - what other items are you looking that have not been mentioned?

I am looking for the Mickey, side vents, and trim ring in matte black/anthracite, no chrome.

At post 19, "JoshKnot" mentioned these part numbers:

For the parts I want (no chrome line), here are the P/N's:

Mickey: 51459810000
L Vent: 51459810003
R Vent: 51459810004
Shift Ring: 51169804630
At post 32, you mentioned these part numbers:

Mickey: 51459810000
L Vent: 51459810003
R Vent: 51459810004
Shift Ring: 51169804630
What I want to confirm is that these are for the matte black/anthracite parts and not the "piano black" parts. The piece seen in this post looks more matte black/anthracite than "piano black" (the latter of which is very glossy).

Also, I'm hoping to confirm the parts will work for a 2012. (I haven't seen anything definitive on that from someone with a US Countryman.)

Hujan- to avoid confusion, there are only 2 versions of the 2013 parts in question: Piano Black and Chrome Line. Both versions are primarily matte black; the difference is in the small inset trim ring on either version.

In Countryman2b's post (#53), you can see this most clearly; in his picture the inset trim is chrome, whereas for the Piano Black version of the part this inset trim is (no shocker) Piano Black.

I think the part numbers you're looking for are these, as re-confirmed by ECS:

Mickey: 51459810000
L Vent: 51459810003
R Vent: 51459810004
Shift Ring: 51169804630

Gotcha. Thanks for clearing that up. MINI is confusing with their descriptions. The ones showed in Countryman2b's post is what I'm looking for, but without the chrome insert. (See, e.g., the ears in this post.)

So, now that that's all cleared up, am I right that only the shifter ring is available right now?

Definitely makes a big difference. I just bought a CPO 2012 CM, and it has the carbon black lounge leather interior. I also have the chrome line interior. The Mickey and vent surrounds are anthracite in my car and blend very well with the rest of the dash, so I'm going to leave them. Does anyone know why some cars have silver pieces and other antracite? I guess I got lucky.

Bump. Any updates on these parts?
