Im looking to buy a new mini, but i cant seem to decide on an interior. The miniusa site helps, but its hard to tell how it really looks without seeing real life pics or seeing it in person.

If anyone can post pics of their interiors, custom, stock, whatever....that would be great.

I'd post pics of my tan leather but I'm too stupid.

you can search for cordoba beige if that's an option you are interested in. You will probably get a lot of advice against the leather but I have never had a car with leather or power windows or A/C or sunroof so I got it all and I like it.

My two favorites are Space cloth (for the Cooper S) and Kaleido Black (for the Cooper), because they're very grippy (for spirited driving) and don't have hot/cold issues during summer/winter. Both Cooper and S come standard with Leatherette; which is very durable, no maintenance, and looks/feels mostly like rubbery leather. The Cloth upholsteries are no-cost options. The leather options are nice, and provide lumbar adjustment. The leather quality is not up to Rolls Royce standards, but is worth it if you like leather seating, and can take care of it regularly.

Hope that helps!
Ryan

Assuming you wanted more help with interior than just seat choices I wanted to point out that you have dash options also. The dash options are not as easy to spot, but you do have a choice. On the MINI Cooper you have Sliver, and Anthracite. On the MINI Cooper S you have Alloy Patina, Silver, and Anthracite. The anthricite look best to my taste.

I got the cloth (black kaleido) and wish I had gotten leatherette. The cloth causes tons of static. I can't close the door without getting shocked.

I'm partial to this, but best thing to do is see them in person. You will know when you find yours.

Check out the anthracite door panel choice. It looks great w/ the headliner and lightens/enlarges the interior feel

I really like the way the anthracite looks, but i wish it was polished.....it seems to show spots & such WAY too easily. Im getting a CVT cooper, & DEFINATELY going with the silver dash option. Im thinking either the cordoba beige, or the panther leather(i think thats the bubble 1). There r just SO many options with the mini that its hard to decide.

Thx for the help, any pics of the panther(bubble) leather, or the cordoba? I havent seen any in person yet, every mini ive seen had either black leatherette or the cloth.

I went with the Cordoba beige leather with the anthracite - with the BRG it looks great - it was the first of this combo the dealer had ordered. There are alot of negative comments about the leather - its a little pricey - but after 8 months and 11000 miles it still looks like new and the beige interior makes the interior much lighter. Either way ENJOY!

OK, I know you're not leaning in this direction but I can resist. Lapis blue leather...

If you're set on leather, I'd go with Cordoba. It looks great, and stands out in a crowd.

The exterior color might make a difference, so remember to consider that angle.

FWIW, I went with anthracite (which has a metallic effect in person, if you haven't seen it) and cloth seats. Leather is mucho $$$.

Hafid has posted the "classiest" interior going: Lapis Blue with Alloy Patina in the MCS. Not available in the MC I'm afraid. Pity that, but it does add an aire of exclusivity to the MCS.

I particularly enjoy it when my Bentley is in the shop.

Ummm... No. That's the anthracite. I got this in my car last month, ordered Anthracite, and it's shiny black and sparkly just as above. The alloy patina is a brushed silver (and looked poor in my opinion, like it was always smudged fingerprints). At least currently here in the USA, that's how the dash trim colors are named. hafid's photo shows the Alloy Patina.

If you're getting a Cooper, get the Red cloth - comes with red door panels and such and looks beyond cool.

For a MCS... go with Lapis leather. I only wish you could get blue door panels with the Lapis, since the green and beige leather give you those colours in the panels. Oh well.

We have anthracite and leatherette and it looks better in person than in the pics.

black and grey cloth seats. great for all seasons and you don't slip around on them. anthracite dash, not too flashy and blends with the rest of the interior.

I have IB/W MCS with blue dash and door panels painted exactly like the MINI cab. In addition, the 2-tone blue leather (seats and boots) and blue floormats harmoniously contrast the dark interior, while the blue matches the exterior perfectly.
