Is the CravenSpeed GPS mount "bouncy" at all?

I feel like with the way the are shoots out, that the GPS could get bouncy if going over bumps or rough surfaces in general.

Can anyone comment?

I have the mount for the Droid X and I get no bounce at all. I can't quite position it where I want though.

No bounce, but you know it uses the mount from your device ... in my case, my TomTom mount bolts to the ball on the Craven mount. It is not as stiff as I would like, and so I cannot swivel it into all the positions I want without it moving as I hit a bump Been tyring to think how to increase the tension on the ball joint without gluing it so its permanently fixed ... I want to still be able adjust it but for it to stay where I put it. (I think the fault is really with my TomTom mount though).

I have a bit of bounce with a garmin GPS on the end. I plan on seeing if I can tighten the mounting bolts to the back of the tack, because it is bothersome on very rough roads.

I don't think there is much bounce to mine.

Mine was fine when I had my 3.5" Magellan on it. But I switch to a rather portly 4.3" Tom Tom GO 730 and it bounces quite a bit now. It's definitely weight related.

Yes. So much so that my wife prefers the bean bag dash mount.

I had the bounce with my Garmin 2460. Replaced the mount with a kids mount and no more bounce.

I have a nuvi 3760T very light mounted on the end of two arms bolted together to get past the edge of the wheel. Very little bounce. Next time I am in the car I will take a picture.
