05 MCS New 3M Carbon Bonnet Stripes Installed

Ordered and installed my new 3M Di-Noc Black Carbon Fiber Bonnet Stripes outlined in Red. Looks similar to the new 2011 JCW. I like how it turned out. How plans to add more of the carbon fiber vinyl to headlight rings, mirrors, etc....

Ebay specials...lol Paid I think 55.00 with free shipping which i thought was a little pricey but what i wanted. I questioned about the stripes being one transparent or individuals and was told it was one but came in 6 stripes.... 2 Carbon Fiber and 4 Red Pin Stripes

I have been on the fence about getting a set of these, but they look awesome on your car, do you have the link to the ebay site for these?

Are the stripes long enough to actually wrap around the hood? I saw the factory ones from MINI Motoring Graphics are like an 1/8"-1/4" short on either end and I guess it is to prevent curling back over time? I think it looks silly once you get close enough. Yours look "wrapped" over the edges and better IMO.

Yetti - These were definately more than enough. I would have to measure to be exact but I believe if you were to do it just right you might could have gotten bonnet and boot out of this set. I had maybe 12" or more left on each stripe. I guess to give you an idea I wrapped my gas cap. It's pieced but you can't really tell it. Just used all i had was all

Just ordered a set from Ebay as well. Different vendor, but same price. I will let you know how they turn out. They look like one set, carbon fiber with the white edging. I will be curious if they come in 2 CF and 4 whites as mentioned earlier. Here is the link: http://myworld.ebay.com/ebaymotors/b...termediagroup/
