Thanks for the reply. I've attached a photo. It's the piece with the two rings that sits to the bottom front of the light. I broke this piece on both lights. I think it is the same piece on the 02-06 xenons and standard lights. If I can just find this piece for both sides I am back in business....
If you have one let me know how much you want for it. Thanks!

I read that oven cleaner worked to strip the coating off the plastic. It worked so well that it made the plastic brittle. I have to believe I will eventually find some old headlights for the right price. I'm in no hurry, as this set is a spare.
Anyone out there have a spare headlight or two that they will part out? See the attached photo for the pieces that I need.
Thanks.

For those reading this thread looking for the take-home message: stay away from oven cleaner. The chrome coating on the plastic liner seen in the photos is about 1 micron thick and can be removed quite easily with a little acetone (used to remove nail polish). Nothing harsher is required. You can even just buff the chrome with green pad (used to clean pots and pans) and most comes off and leaves a nice fine texture for the new paint.
Sorry to hear of your mishap, FOG.
