aero bumper info

had a little issue with some ice and my mini S.
does anyone have the part number for the aero front bumper with lower grilles ?
and how do i go about keeping the textured wheel arch's in the front, do the factory ones work on the aero bumper or are they aero kit specific ?
if they are kit specific what are the part numbers for those as well ?

how much of a price difference is there between an oem S bumper, and the aero bumper ?

this is the one i am looking for:

but can someone indulge me as to what this bumper is, and will it fit on my 04 ?

they are one piece, bumper and arches. they are painted to match the OEM plastic trim.

depends on where you buy it... be sure to shop around, there are lots of different bargains to be found.

The "white" bumper is an R56 bumper, im pretty sure it's the JCW, it won't fit on the 1st gens.

I cant help you with a part number or price, but as far as the black textured arch, the aero font bumper is all one piece and the "arches" are painted on with a special textured paint. Also the white Cooper is an R56 with the JCW aerokit and it wont fit on an R53.

I have a couple already painted aero kits in stock in Pure Silver and Chilli red that I could make you a great deal on. They come with the grilles too.

That white one is an R56 JCW bumper. Won't fit on a R50 or R53

I have an Aero Bumper for 2005 which I have not used and fitted. Brand new. My plan changed. I paid $450. + the shipping.
If anyone is interested let me know and I will sell it in lower price.

I have an unpainted (as yet) aero kit. I have been trying to get information on the texture paint for the arches. Anyone know brand and model/product information?

when my wife rear ended somebody in my R53 4 years ago, insurance replaced the hood and front bumper. I had to do the legwork to get them part numbers etc. but they agreed to replace it with the aero pieces instead of standard with me paying the difference. I don't remember what it was anymore, but it was nominal, seriously, less than $100 difference. IIRC, the bumper was slightly more, but the grills were significantly less, overall a wash.

I've never seen it at retail, but if you ask any Paintshop guy, he'll know exactly what you're talking about.
