Interior/Exterior is R-SPEED a reputable store?
cause i think i got jacked on the fog covers i ordered. no UPS tracking info, no email replies, etc.
just wondering. i guess i can call them on friday when im back in the office
but i shouldn't have to do this. hope they are a good store.

Hey... i have had no problems with Rspeed... actually they are very helpful and knowledged on the mini... They will help you out with any needs you have... i doubt you have anything to worry about.. I have been in there store several times, they have some good deals...
I've talked to Peter at RSpeed on several occasions.
They are a great company with a huge customer base. They seem to be very customer oriented. I don't think you'll have any problems getting this sorted out.

break the bank or anything, but they did take in my creditcard info, etc when
i ordere online, so just being cautious the first time.
a quick 'shipped' email would be great though as the automated confirmation email states that i was to get a tracking number...never got it.

I have only ordered from them once and there were no issues at all.

Kenchan, how long has it been since your order? How many hours did you give them before declaring that they're not responding to e-mails? It's very easy to find a phone number for RSpeed (try the website!); did you try talking to someone about the status of your order? I don't think it's appropriate to air your grievances on MCO before properly investigating them individually. RSpeed has a good reputation, and has been very helpful to many people here. I think you're jumping to conclusions.

RSpeed goes way back with me and the Miata club where I live. They are very good with their customers. Yours just slipped through. I have made purchases through them both online and in person. Give Peter a call. They have always gone the extra mile for every one I know. I recently bought the Promini intake and had lots of problems instaling it. Peter was there every step of the way to make sure the Promini tech guys were taking care of me.
Give them a call. You will have no problems. They are excellent people and a great resource. They will be doing almost all of my MINI service. I have purchased several things from them and could not recommend them highly enough.
I ordered my rims from Joe and never had a problem. He went the extra mile and sent pics in an email to ease my color concerns. They boxed each tire and rim package individually to stop the UPS/Fedx guys from bouncing them around, who else would do that?
Good shop and great people, although I've only dealt with them on the phone, they share our joy in mod'ing the MINI.
I too hope you tried to contact them prior to posting.

got an email reply...they shipped USPS so no tracking number. i guess they
just need to setup an automated 'shipped via USPS' reply like many stores....
other then that, will wait for my package. looking forward to it.

easy to setup a online store these days..could be kids running it; thus the reason
for my question.

Several vendors tell me that they don't like to send anything by USPS due to no tracking number.
Now you can see why.
But for me USPS is one of the less expensive methods to send my order.

Actually, USPS Priority Mailing programs give a tracking number with all priority mail shipments. Shipping starts at $3.85 and 2-3 day shipping to anywhere in the US. Cheap for customers and very effective for our business.
LAMIN-X is right... come to think of it, some other stores have provided me with priority shipping numbers... but i wont go that picky.

Actually, USPS Priority Mailing programs give a tracking number with all priority mail shipments. Shipping starts at $3.85 and 2-3 day shipping to anywhere in the US. Cheap for customers and very effective for our business.
Additionally problems with USPS is damage good claims...they have next to no support for that...essentially they will tell you if you ship through us it is your own risk that items may be damaged...heck i've seen how they handle stuff...no way...if i have anything important or valuable I always ship fedex...I won't even use USPS for important documents...i've been burnt too many times with them...including them loosing important mortgage documents.....to me a few extra bucks isn't a big deal to get a piece of mind....also as far as i remember they only show you a yes/no it has been delivered...not where it is located etc or when the anticipated delivery time is.

First - I want to be completely clear with Mr. Osato (kenchan)- we are not here to "jack" customers. We have been in business for over 13 years now and put our customers first. We have a wonderful following of Mini and Miata enthusiasts around the world and take a lot of pride in our customer service and our bsuiness. And we did return an email to him the next imediate day.
Second - My Osato emailed us with a simple statement of "Did you take my money and run?".
No we did not take your money and run. As we indformed him, we mailed his order by US Priority mail and not UPS - hence the reason he did not get a UPS tracking #.
And yes, our system is automated with UPS - when UPS slows down, so does the automation of gettingt a UPS tracking # to our customers. We do about 70 orders a day and juat about every one of the gets an automated UPS #.
We will be glad to refund Mr. Osato's shipping due to the confusion from our end - by not notifying him of the shipping carrier.
I would also like to point out that the best way to solve any issues with us is by simply *calling* us. We are not hiding from anyone and all it takes is 30 seconds to call and ask "where is my order". We are here M-F to help with any questions you may have and I encourage Mr. Osato to call us if he has any other issues to go over with us - including any improvements we can make or if we can refund his shipping.

Yes Ken, you are corrrect, but the part of the email that was not very curtious to myself and the staff at RSpeed was "Did you take my money and run." Nothing more needs to be said here on that matter.

Look - you seem to think that we don't care here or that we have some other agenda here. If there is any mistake we made with you was that we did not call you the same day with a tracking #. You emailed us for a tracking number and in that time you also come on this forum to make your point about us "jacking" your money. We value you and your order - this is why I am here posting to you and the forum - so that everyone knows both sides.
Yes, I have many orders on a daily basis - we are not a HUGE company and because of this, we make everyone's shopping experience a family like process - we care and wee are there to answer any questions.
I think this could have been resolved on your end by simply calling us - and yes, in my case I should have possibly called you - but the time it has taken you to post your commenst, you could have called and had a freindly converstaion with us. We hope you will order again some day and we will be sure to be there again to take care of any of your needs
Since this thread has run its course and does not have much more to do with exterior/interior mods, it is being locked.
