Anyone who has a MINI can you tell me what colour you have?

I want to see what colours are the most popular, and whether I want to get a colour that many people have or try to choose something less popular.

You will see so many beautiful MINIs, of every type and color combo you can imagine!

Or you can go to the [Search] on the upper right side of the screen and search for threads about colors.

oh, I have a question... are you wanting to get the most popular color combo ? or were you wanting to stay away from the popular color combo ?

You should really get what you like and not care if there are 100 others out on the road or just 20 others that have your same colors. What's the chance they'll have anything else exactly the same as yours? pretty slim.

Also each city is different. When I visit Dallas, I've seen different colors. Up there I've seen several Electric Blue and 2 BRG and 3 times a Pepper White. but Here in Austin, I see a MINI about once every 2 weeks. I've only seen a couple Dark Silver, Red, Indy Blue, and one Electric Blue, onePepper White and one Gold. I have NEVER seen a Silk Green.

 

From previous polls I've seen on the MINI forums, the top 3 most popular colors are chili red, pure silver, and indi blue in that order.

Also, roof color tends to be opposite the body color contrast-wise. Darker body colors usually have a white roof, and lighter colors usually have a black roof. So going against that trend will give you a less common combination. Chili red goes well with either. Then there's the relatively rare choice of a body-color roof.

All that said, I agree that you should get whatever color combo does it for you regardless of what others have chosen.

 

mine will be yellow with white top. can't wait to see her in december !!!

 

Don't forget the impact on speed...I think someone on another thread once explained the scientific reasons why red is fastest!

 

I have CR/W (Very popular) and PW/B (Not that popular but getting there since now this color is available in the MCS).

My Baby is:

'04 Chili Red MCS, Black roof and mirror caps, 17" silver Panasports, Black bonnet stripes w/ white pin stripes and (in a week) Checkerboard Black n Silver checks & Red "S" roof from Cooperflags. Then off to the tinter for the glass!
