Airbox scoop

Hello, ive seen this mod once before and cant remember where. It was a mini scoop, more like a large louvre above the airbox location on a Mini S. Has anyone ever seen/done this mod?

Maybe the Orciari cowl scoops...

...i'm not sure who this MINI belongs to, I found the pic in the Google image search.

BTW...while the scoops look cool, the drivers' side one would need to be taller for any significant airflow to be forced to the air box area.

No, it was a single scoop (drivers side only), literally over the airbox, on the hood, i imagine it was a custom job. It looked like it was about 4-5in wide, and somewhat curved. I think it was on an orange mini in Modern Mini..?

I remember that car/mod. It looked like an old shaker scoop on a V8 muscle car. You could replicate my FAD:

Yes they are. I put them on unpainted because they match the flat black stuff on my car already. I really like them. The picture MOSS has online and in their catalog make them look like crap.

Given the poor image quality, my guess is that it provides about the same amount of air to the airbox as my Fresh Air Diverter (FAD). So why cut a hole in your bonnet when you don't need to?

It's a one-off, integrated with the scoop. I'm just too busy to make these things, sorry.
