Europlate option opinions

Not sure if this is the most appropriate place to put this thread, but it'll work unless mods want to move it..

well ques 1) best place to get it? Ebay good enough?
I don't plan on mounting it for now, as I have my front plate i must run by law in MA. It'll just be for rally's/gtg/meets etc to put up against the windshield, unless I find a better place for it permanantly.

Please vote: (GB tag on left side of white bkground plate)

How about "PULL G4CE" or "GB LTRL GS" (Great British Lateral G's)? Although from your list, I vote for option D/E, but slightly modded: "BSTN R56S" since they wouldn't have the umlaut in England...

Oh - and I got mine ("LTS MOTOR" GB Plate) on autogeek.net. You can pick up the plate holder there too.

My wife got me one for my B-day, if she can find the paperwork I'll answer question 1. I think she paid under $40.
If you are set on one of those, go with option F.
Stay warm.

Get a hidden license plate bracket for your state plate from here....I have one, works great as long as you dont use a heavy metal license plate frame. The spring used to flip plate upright is not strong enough to hold up both plate and a heavy frame.....

http://www.swiftmotorsports.com/prod...177f200284034d

Then mount you Euro plate on the front permanent like.

I just feel like that'd make it a little too busy... I've thought about it- maybe I can make it work somehow by cleaning up the front now, thanks!
(stripes, joey mod with red ring, pull to inflate, tow hook ..+two plates may be too much)... though because of a recent accident where a lady rolled into me on a hill, I will be finding out (sometime today when the insur. appraiser comes) if I'll be getting a new bumper, if so I'll upgrade to the aerobumper (any clue what the diff in price of a new S bumper vs a new aerobumper costs?), and if so I won't run the tow hook again, and maybe I can do the plates then!

DO NOT buy from www.europeanplates.com

I ordered plates and it took 13 weeks to get them and then i only got them because i had used PayPpal and had gotten them involved after not getting them in 3 weeks as advertised. I had alos ordere holders for them an have never received them.

This is the worst company i have ever had to deal with.

Here is photo of plate in down position......You can just see a small portion of the top edge of the bracket/plate under lower left bumper lip.

I had to shave off about 10 inches of under lip portion to allow unit to sit up flat against underside of front facia. When in the plate is in the up position it sits lower than other brackets sold, and little further to left.

I usually drive with it in down position hidden. Not up.

Apology for poor quality of last 2 photos - 7 degrees right now in garage that has not many lights in it.....

I have only been stopped once for "non-display" of front plate. I just apologized got out - and flipped it up. Officer just shook his head and told me to have a nice day.....
