very cool, a unique expression. I agree with others like Redbull, etc, I never really considered it, but thought about what it may look like...I can't stand when people judge you for an opinion.

Sorry to post the pic, without your permission man, just wanted to put up a prime example. Nice ride.

If you don't want people to judge you then don't ask questions in a public forum. Don't get me wrong i think people who call "lambo doors" ricey should get their head checked. Rice is as misused as often as irony or karma. But then again most people show their ignorance as often as they can then try to hide behind humor as their shield. But back to the op. Do it I think body kits, vertical doors, 20's, HID's, painted accents, and large spoilers are all valid forms of self expression.

I can understand judgement for your opinion in a public forum, thats why I asked the question. What I meant was when people judge you as a person and attack you like what kind of people would do such a horrible thing? I just hate that part of it. Trust me, I'm not losing sleep over it, but I think it's not necessary.

I also agree with what you said about the doors. A great form of expression and if it makes you happy then there should be no reason why you shouldn't do it.

You might as well get suicide doors. Would lambo doors even work on a MINI since the window goes up and down when you open and close the door?

I have seen vertical door kits on almost every car from Slks to ek6. You should try and tap into the door actuators so the windows roll down when you open them and close when you let the door down. That would look so custom. ps Sorry I get so irritated with people use the term "rice" to describe something when their limited vocabulary fails them.

I bought a kit for my civic for like $300... They are pretty heavy. I can only imagine the cooper being heavier because of the pretty solid doors
