very nice. I wish I had the $$ =] maybe seibon will come out with a decently priced hood like they did. its a far shot but who knows, if not I still want a painted m7 scoop
honestly i NEVER liked this scoop, that raised look just never worked for me....but after seeing it in cf on your car, maybe its the color combo, but that looks ****in meannnnnnn i like it alottt, congrats
Yeah, I have been bugging them since they came out with the fiberglass one. So they had me down as a pre-order on it. They were shipping mine when they posted that they were available. WOOHOO!! Now if I can keep bugging them to come out with a grill for the rear bumper, then I'd be all good!
Install was a piece of cake! I can get some side pics tomorrow and post them up. Everything needed for the install is included. You get a 1/4" drill bit and then one of those progressive drill bits also. Simple, and the reward is worth it! Morbius, post some more pics of yours too, for a multiple car comparison.
Clnconcpts, that's what I'm trying to get a real look at. The pics that have been posted thus far look BAD A**. I would like to see one on RED (what I have).

I will receive my M7 Vortex scoop next week, but I am a little concerned about having an easy "piece of cake" installation. Any advice that would help a novice make a clean, tight fitting installation (including removal of original scoop, drilling, etc.) would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Your Mini looks great!
