Sorry that I can't help you on this (don't even have my MINI yet!) but I'm wondering what change you are making? Chrome? Black? I'm thinking about Chrome but I don't know if it will look good.

I can help you....

Open the hood and you will find a black plastic cap centerd right under the scoop. Remove the cap, there's a Torx bolt you need to remove.
Close the hood and pull the scoop straight up ......it will come of.
Don't worry if it seems like it's stuck, just pull harder

That's it my friend, but if you have problems with the removal
please call me at 562-712-3270 cell

M7, thank you!!! My husband is out mowing the lawn so will have him take a tug when he gets back in. He was pretty annoyed with it, especially when our dealer told us it was a "2 minute fix". He's very handy so it got him all fired up

We'll try soon!!!

sfomini, if you want the chrome scoop, mine is for sale and 50+ cheaper then the dealers. It looks great but I just overdid my MINI from the get-go...theres just too much on it right now so trying to make it simpler!

Hi laurendesigns,

I've been thinking it over and I think I want to take delivery of my MINI first and see how I like it; I'm thinking about bonnet stripes too, but I need to see it first before I decide on anything. Thanks for the offer, I may take you up on it at a later time if it is still available.

Tony
