Can someone confirm the part number for the MINI One black plastic trunk handle? RealOEM gave this number: 51137167530. The local parts counter will not order Euro-spec parts and says that RealOEM part numbers are only good 80% of the time...apparently.

I have found the part on Pelican Parts but it has no picture or description. The price is $67.25, and that seems about right for a trim piece.

 

Talk to R50 Paul. He has one on his car. He might be able to tell you the part number he had.

 

RealOEM actually lists it as an available part in the US. If you simply give the number to your parts counter and don't mention anything about MINI One, they may just order it. I was able to order the MINI One black front grill here in the US.

You should also ask Classic MINI for their price.

 

Thanks, but something new this parts counter is doing is ordering parts by VIN. "The parts on these cars were not designed to be mixed and matched," the guy said. I'll just get them online, probably cheaper too.
