That car looks awesome. I really like the white in the joey mod. Really brings the whole theme together very well.

Door handles....yes. I got the CF covers from AC and I didn't like the fit. So I was thinking of going with Vinyl Styles replacement black handles, but after doing my speakers and looking around it looks as though the entire window system would have to come out for that. I will find a way, it just may take some time. Thanks for the comments!

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. Lyle is doing all my chrome right now. As soon as I get everything back, I'm going to look into the door handles.

You do have to take out the window to get to them. That's my only fear.

sweet

That has turned out REALLY nice. It is a very cool looking MINI - everything you've done goes very well together - totally cohesive. Good job!

Well done! What color was the vinyl on the roof? I'm assuming your body color is astro-black...wondering if you went with a flat black stripe or found some vinyl to match the astro...

The roof is plain old black. Because it is so far from any of the Astro Black, you actually would never know the difference. As for taking the windows out, I would be freaked. I don't mind taking my car apart, but after the body shop fixed my car and put the doors back together even they had a hard time adjusting the windows to roll up perfectly. Lyle does great work, and it does really change the whole look of the car, not to mention the attitude.

looks great!

i was thinking what if you did the opposite with the joey mod and did all white with black on the projector shroud.... it would look like those crazy eyes that kids use on crafts haha!!

it looks fantastic like this though.

No, I actually got rid of them. One side of the handle started to split when installing it. So they were no good anymore. As for the joey mod, my wife and I debated over doing it white with the black ring, and this is what won out. Maybe someday when I get "bored" with the look, I might just change it up.

looks great. Is all the blackout (tails, beltline, headlight rings) from vinyl styles?

Yep all of it including the side markers and gas cap were done by Vinyl Styles. Yeah I dont know how my parents thought I was old enough to drive, but I'm not complaining.
