Interior/Exterior MINI Wings
I think the experts use several pieces of dental floss, and kind of saw back and forth between the emblem and the paint. Totally harmless to both the emblem and the paint. Might have to use 'Goof-Off' to get the remaining double stick tape off the car

I agree with the Dental Floss technique. I used it for rear Cooper S emblem to replace with JCW badge after aero and tuning kit. Floss works really well. Expect to break several pieces and take your time. I used 1/3 alcohol and 2/3 H2O to remove the goop left behind.
if its the same as removing the Cooper S badge then heres a step by step made earlier this year by erieman

Removed and re-attached both front and rear MINI wing logos for centerline stripe application. The logos are held on with two-sided sticky tape and located with two plastic posts inserted into matching holes in the metalwork. The front logo's pins are different in size from the rear (one pin is bigger than the others). The pins are located centered under the "M" and the last "I".
The Bentley manual recommends using a heat gun or hair dryer to soften the tape. Don't overdo it, as the logos are plastic. Using heat and a tape-covered putty knife, it took less than 5 seconds to lift off each logo with no damage. You can buy a $5 roll of molding tape at any auto parts store and re-use the factory logos.
