I´d like to know if someone ha installed an static tv screen on his mini. i was thinking on doing it but I don´t know where to put it. Some pics would be perfect. Yhanks and excuse my for my english...

I have a TV hooked to my NAV screen..if thats what you mean...

there are also a number of replacements for the head-unit that include a LCD display that pops out.

No the tv on the nav wasn´t what I mean. I have not nav and I cannot install a tv screen in the radio place because there u have a blaupunkt that i cannot remove because it includes handsfree. I want to install only the screen and my doubt was where to put it. I was thinking on place it on the roof but I dont know haow to do it...some sugerences?

The suggestion above for the Crutchfield web site being the place to look is a good one. I followed it down and found this link
here which shows a number of systems. Boy, $999 sounds like a lot of money for such a dubious accessory.

I am having one installed in about a week and a half. I will post pics when I get it back from Innovative Audio (Seattle, Wa.) It is by far the coolest setup I have come across. The screen is mounted in place of the rear view mirror and sunroof controls w/ a camera mounted in the rear bumper to use the screen as a color live feed of the rear. This setup actually improves rear visibility since the rear window is so damn small. I spend a great deal of time riding the ferry's to and from work, so I have a dvd player installed to watch movies when my Mini is taking a breather during my commute. The whole setup runs just under $2k sans DVD player which I am taking from my other vehicle.
