Pic req: Black jack door handles...

Does anyone have the OutMotoring black jack door handles? Preferrably on a Jet Black or Astro Black, but any color would be great

I haven't installed mine yet, sorry. I decided that I wanted to put some sound dampener in the door first. I just got the B-Quiet in last week and hope to have time to get the passenger side handle on before the Dragon on Friday. Regardless, I'll post pics as soon as one is on

Here are a couple of teasers

It's going to look great! I'm jealous. How complicated is the install?

I'm trying to deaden some of the chrome, and I have a couple of other black jacks on the car.

I'm going to have to get a set of these. I checked a while ago and they were only available for the R56s. These are just sweet. I thought about giving them the CF treatment, but I don't want too much of that on my car and I have nothing with the Union Jack yet.

I'm worried about a really difficult install and not liking the end result...

I don't see any way that it could not be an improvement over the chrome though. I like the black jack look overall anyway.

As long as you don't have an R56 with comfort access, then the handles should be identical I'm sure there are people on here that have already done this with the UJ handles

Definitely looks cool! I'd be afraid it wouldn't look good on my car afterwards. I'm curious to see finish results on someone else's car!

Those are nice handles.

The install isn't complicated. It is very straightforward. It is just a royal pain in the neck. The allens that hold the assembly in are hard to reach, well actually only the allen to the rear of the door. IT WILL HELP GREATLY TO USE A ROUNDED TIP ALLEN WRENCH! (I don't know the technical term for the tool but it is the type that have the ball type head at the end of the wrench.) It just takes alot of patience and time to put your arm at angles it doesn't do naturally. It took me about 2 hours to install the carbon handles on my car. Fingers cramped and my forearm felt as though I had done about 500 sets of wrist curls.

if you get the longer t-handled allens they will reach thru the holes on the door. there are 2 plugs that you pop out and you'll be right at the allen bolts.

i did it the hard way and stuck my arm thru the large opening and cramped up like minid... but with the right tools it turns this mountain of a job into a much simpler DIY.

Thanks a lot. I should have no worries then, since I have an R53.
