Shelby Stripes

I am thinking about the Aesthetic Creations Shelby stripes for the bonnet/ boot on my '07 MCS CR/ W. Has anyone here used them, and if so, were you happy? Is the vinyl quality? And could this be a DIY job (I do have some (limited) experience with vinyl application)? Any thoughts/ advice would be great!

I (regrettably) did not use AC. So, can't comment on their vinyl. I can say that putting Shelby stripes on the boot would be challenging because of the compound curves. It would be really difficult to keep the width even and the stripes parallel.

I've just ordered a set, but I found a shop in Huntington Beach, CA that will install them pretty reasonably.

I'll send up some photos when they arrive and go on.

After looking into the stripes and searching around the AC website, I decided to get the GP style vinyl for around the hoodscoop. I also got a domed JCW badge to put where the "GP" logo is on the GP MINI. It will be cheaper and easier to do, plus I think it will look slick with the CR/ W paint scheme. Plus, I haven't seen anyone else with it yet, so it will be different. Now all I need is that Stage 1 JCW kit to come out...

I got my stripes from AC and am extreamly happy with them. I had him install them becasue I am not a good sticker person. I always seem to mess them up and stick myself to them....
