Interior/Exterior LEDs installed in our R56
I installed the red kit sometime ago. I'd like to change the dome light back to white. What is the difference between 06610, and 05665 in white?

So, here is our answer.
YES they work prefectly in the new R57. Go ahead and purchase the
"Budget LED Interior Lamp Kit (2007+ Cooper and Cooper S). Nine LED replacement bulbs, including a conventional (not a panel) LED for the dome lamp. $69.99"
That's what I purchased a week or so ago, and just finished installing them. The SuperWhites look awesome. Installing them in the overhead dome light, and the two map lights took some time to figure out, but it's so easy. Just grab the center unit as you were going to hold a large pie. Pull towards you bit, and then down. The entire center unit will slide right off. Disconnect the two cables, and then turn each bulb socket to remove the bulb, and replaced with the LED. The puddle lights and the rear boot light are just like the R56.
Now for the more important questions... How do you replace the footwell lights? I was able to remove the plastic cover, but the bulb isn't easily removed. Any ideas?

i have a 2009 cabrio too. for the footwells, just pop off the light covers, then detach from the connector. then turn and the bulb slides out and you can change it. i was having trouble with the dome light cover, but i will try what you posted on removing it. thanks.
You can find the kits HERE.

too much blue and the police will stop you.
I had to swap mine to white when I got too extreme.
check your state laws to see which colors are legal to be exposed outside of the cabin (or brightly out the windows).

Hey Mach V Dan,
I finally received my super white LED kit for my 2009 R56, but no instructions or sheet. Is there supposed to be one? Or is it pretty easy to figure out which one goes where once I open up all the lenses?
Thanks.

How to change the front reading bulbs
Hi,
Does anyone can help me? Today, I changed almost all the dome bulbs to leds but I could not figure our how to remove the reading light of both the driver and front passenger. I mean the one at top with some switches.
Thx!

hey dude.. you mean you can't take the bulbs out or you can't get into the plastic housing to get to the bulbs?
you need to grab the housing and pull to the inside of the car, it pops off. just don't pull too hard cause it is connected by wires inside. This is the housing above the rear view mirror where the switches are for reading lights, right? Cause I changed mine to LED green bulbs too and that's how I got into it. There is a thread here somewhere about changing interior lights. that's where I got the info from and tried it. good luck
