Last Saturday, our own Barry (bgrpph) was honored as the SuperLap Series 2004 Limited Front Wheel Drive champion. Erik (erik808) was at the awards ceremony to accept Barry's award (Barry was in Maui on a previously planned outing).



Hope to see more MINIs having fun at the next SuperLap! If the units arrive in time, it will be the debut of in-car instant monitoring of lap times. Of course, you can always get your best time during the last session of TIME ATTACK.

 

Next SuperLap Time Attack is tomorrow at HRP.

 

Sorry I missed superlap, I had three family events going on. Today I have two more.

Wow! This last SuperLap had a HUGE turnout! Must've been close to double the previous event's turnout. Only bgrpph and dakinemini were there to represent the MINIs (though erik808 was representing by working the course as a marshall through the HOT long day - thanks erik808!).

Both bgrpph and dakinemini had a mediocre day (both posting slower times than the previous event) but neither crashed again so all is well and both were smiling at the end of the day.

minihune, yes, I got my replacement Hoosier on, but I chunked it and the chunk was slightly corded. I REALLY need to get camber plates like you folks.

Hope more MINIs can show up for this great racing event - we are getting quickly outnumbered by Hondas!

The mongoose was down and out at turn 1, when i first saw it. It was in my line so i had to finish him off though.

 

Did the corner workers wave the roadkill flag at you?

 

are you serious, there's a roadkill flag?

what would happen if the guy was still squirming, wouldn't you wanna end his misery, being fatally wounded?

who's the lucky guy that gets to clear the roadkill? and if he's still squirming? put up the kill flag before clearing him?

 

Roadkill flag is actually the debris flag. Who cleans up the dinner, is anyone's guess!
