I'll say this. JPL is still in it because of his appeal to the female demographic. Redhead? I'm not sure how he's still in it. My mom likes him, but no one else in the family knows why. Jennifer Hudson has made a tremendous improvement since she was almost booted.

Velasco was sequestered by Fox last night and not spending much time with her family following the telecast. She was scheduled for a round of TV appearances today and was unavailable for comment.

This was chicken kukai for the network to do as Camille needed to be with her family after such an emotional night.

It would not surprise me if the producers did that - - - in fact would surprise me if they didn't. Everything they do in these shows are for ratings, not truth, justice, and the American way. My belief is that only the highest vote count is accurate. I think the script writers (or bean counters) decide who to bump each week.

BTW, did anyone see the Swan? the plastic surgery makeover/beauty queen contest? How far will these "reality shows" go?

Next year maybe they'll have a bunch of ugly men who want to be transformed into beautiful women and have a beauty contest!!!

 

I know for a fact that some people vote hundreds of times. They should change the system so you can only vote once.

It doesn't matter at this point. It was confirmed this mornin by Camile's mom that she will fulfill her 6 month tour deal with AI, then pursue other opportunities. She also said that no more than 10 minutes after the show, Camile was contacted by Baby Face. Sheesh, he'll take her much farther than AI can. I'm sure camile will be aiight!

Well folks, if you saw the KHON 2 news tonight, Camille did get offers fom Babyface and Glamour Magazine. The unfortunate thing is she is still under the onerous control of AI and must get their consent before she can enter into any contract.

AI is a pressure cooker for those who are left (except maybe for George, he's just having fun).
Camile was cracking under that pressure and that is ashame because she is a better singer than she was able to show on live TV. In a recording studio I'm sure she would do well and also with the right guidance it would be a good start in the right direction.

AI is all about the positive exposure and it is obvious which contestants have a following.

By the time the show ends everything but one will be bumped. But being bumped is not the end of the road, it's just the beginning if you still have what it takes.

 

Good luck to the final 8. I hope everyone is healthy and comes out swinging. Oops I mean singing.

It is my opinion that at least two are lacking in the singing talent dept.
If three females are in the bottom three again for the umpteenth time in a row this week I am going to turn off my TV and boycott Fox.

Well AI is live and on the east coast it is pre-empted by the President's message.
So the singers will get to rest their voices one more day and we get to vote on wednesday.
This week's show's focus is on movie music.
Next week? Barry Manilow stuff?

I would guess it would be -3. Or in other words, people would turn it off before they watched it.
