All Drivers (even visitors) are invited and spectators are free. You pay $1 for parking at the stadium with access to the vendors and flea market all day.

Note for drivers-
All drivers must be a Regular SCCA Member or Weekend Member.
Entry fees effective with 3/30/08 event:

• SCCA member: $25 per event
• Non-member: $40 ($25 + $15 weekend membership)

$15 weekend membership paid can be applied later (within time limit) towards full one year membership.

All new drivers need to come in the morning for walk up registration about 730am.

Pre-registered (online) drivers can check in before 815am if they drive in Heat 1 or 2 and at 1130am if they drive in Heats 3 or 4.

 

For March 30th

NEW SEASON - Race #1 - March 30
Heat 1: All Street Touring, Prepared
Heat 2: All Stock
Heat 3: All Street Prepared, EM
Heat 4: All Street Modified, DM

All novice (first time) drivers are encouraged to drive in Heat 3 or 4 so that they can get an instructor. Only in the first event can a driver get an instructor during competion runs.

During fun runs at the end of each event you can also ask for an instructor.

All drivers are encouraged to drive in the correct heat for the class of car they are running. If you run in a heat outside of your normal assignment and you do well others in your class can protest and you can be assessed a 4 second penalty for each official run.

If you run your car in a class that is incorrect and you are told to reclass your car and run in the correct group and you fail to do so you can be disqualified for that event.

If you run and don't have 8" tall race numbers and 4" tall class letters on each door in plain sight then you will get no official time and no points for that event but you can still run. Painters tape or shoe polish is being discouraged, paper with ink marked number and letters taped to the door will be acceptable if made to the correct dimensions.

Aloha to Mike M., he's going to be out of state for work and will miss the rest of the season. Hopefully he'll be back for next year.

Lost a few MINIs.

Hoping to get a few more.

Caroline sold her MCS and will be driving a new Subaru WRX Sti wagon.

Competition is keen in DSP and SM classes.

Barry is gaining on experience.

 

Sadly Barry had to move out of state.

We will miss him and his MINI turbo monster.

Only one more event for this season on Feb 15

Next event is practice- test and tune all day Jan 25th.

 

Next sunday is the last event of the season then in early march is the runoffs in the morning and funruns in the afternoon.

This weekend you can pre-reg for the next event if you have driven before.

Late march starts the 2009-2010 season with likely 12 events coming and possibly a test and tune date in July.
