Cornering fast / lean or straight

When cornering quickly I naturally want to lean my body is this the correct way to turn or should I try to stay strait up . Some times my equilibrium gets thrown off when I accelerate out of a corner.

you aren't driving a motorcycle (where body lean controls the bike). Sit up. The car will take care of your leaning.

+1 Do what is comfy. You will notice that even some F1 drivers will lean pretty dramatically and others will not lean at all.

When I have proper support leaning never happens, the MINI currently doesn't have that (hmmm ponders racing seat again) in steep banked corners my head almost always does tilt to level off though. And I lean in playing video games (FREAKS people out the 1st time they see it )

I lean opposite to the turn for comical effect.

I lean into the turns aswell, just so that I know that I have somecontrol of my body over the syntriphical force.

That's what you think (but just so u know syntriphical is not a word)

But to keep on topic: I tend to remain straight (I think) but as soon as I get my race seats it will be always be straight.
