Welcome, that lightning blue in the sun really shines.

 

Sold Ms Pepper ( pepper white R53S) I had for several years.
Bought "Helmut Schwarz" (black over lightning blue R58).

kept a set of 16" "S Winders" with 205/55 (oversized) all seasons I had for Ms Pepper.
have a set of 17" Summer tires I can no longer use. So I put them in Marketplace.

Yep run the 16 in winter , keep the 17 for summer, that what i do.

 

Is Lightning Blue the same as ELECTRIC Blue? I'm in if it is. I have a 2012 Cooper S Vert.

Love it. And I think the blue makes it ride better, feel faster and attract smarter and more fun people.

think maybe electric is a little lighter than lightning.
Never the less, glad you are pleased with your convertible.
dare say I bought the R58 despite it being blue. Several colors I'd rather have.

 

I'm in. Got a 2012 MCS Vert - R57. It's some sort of blue and it's awesome.

I'm now the new owner of a well loved Lightning Blue + Silver 2008 R55 with 105,500mi on the clock. She has a lot of small (and some potentially LARGE) fixes she needs, but I'm determined to bring her back to vitality as I've wanted a Clubman from the first moment I saw it debuted.

It's nice to find kindred color loving spirits here!

Hi I love your Mini it looks great, I've been working on my R58 and was replacing the chrome trim for black trim. Im just wondering how I can blacken out the belt line trim.
