I wouldn't say that, I just got a great deal on these with only a 1000 Miles on them...
ECS Tuning shows these at $250 plus a piece...
MINI's wheel prices are ridiculous, especially as the wheels are so heavy. But when you find a deal, it's still a deal! Bought a set of nice tunnel spoke take-offs for my spouse's Countryman for less than decent aftermarket wheels cost; no complaints.
Regarding silver, plastidip is your friend. Cheap, low effort, high return.
The more I stare at my Victory I can't bring myself to replace yet. I actually think a set of spacers would help the look nicely but I've always had a mental block towards spacers.
Congrats OP. Great pick up. If anyone else is looking to steal a set of OEM wheels... look no further.
I just purchased a set of OE Black Star Spoke 18" wheels and am selling my take-off 17" Black Net Spoke 519s (part #36116856046) with OE Pirelli Cinturato P7 Run-Flats and OE TPMS. $1250 obo, picked up in RI. They're all flawless, only 46 miles (from the dealership to home). Fully assembled, this set is well over $2,500 (and over $3,000 from the parts counter). The tires alone go for $900 + Tax + Shipping from TireRack.
I am relatively new here- but feel free to check my Bimmerpost handle (I've sold a few cars and and many parts over the years).
17" just before the 18" went on (they're peaking out form the bottom right of the pic!).
