Not real good shots...sun's up too much already this cold morning before I could get the car out, camera ready, etc., but I thought I'd revive this thread just a bit...

Car got the full detail again this weekend... P21S Paint Cleanser followed by old school 3M Hand Glaze and a coat of P21S Concours Look wax. Griots Spray on Wax over the top to finish off. One Grand Exterior and Vinyl on tires and plastics.






These Blizzak's have been fantastic in all sorts of weather. I've used Blizzaks since '97 and they've always been exceptional tires.

This is my 2009 Clubman S. Her name is Min Pin. I named the car after my Minature Pinscher Lucy of 11 years who I had to recently have euthanized. Sigh.
But her spirit lives on!

Brand new 2013 MCS LiB/B. She's now eagerly awaiting her black viper stripes (w. pinstripes) and then maybe some driving lights.

Who can educate me on the different side skirts on these MINI's? Is it an option, different years, upgraded pkg? Thank you in advance?

Top 2007 MINI Cooper S w/ stock S bumper and S side skirts.

Bottom 2013 MINI Cooper S w/ JCW body package. Newest JCW Aero kit , which has the front Aero bumper with brake ducts, lower lip in two sections with middle section ( looks like three but its two ), JCW side skirts. These are the all non fully painted ones ( black would be painted).

Will these JCW side skirts fit a Gen 1 MCS? Are they a dealer item only?

 

We have the most Genuine MINI parts on our site.

Gen 1 MINIs R50 / R52 / R53 had there own style side skirts seen here, they are from the Aero kit even though some people call them the JCW Aero:
