...seemed to make the idea of posting a moderately interesting plate number (for an MCS, at any rate) pretty much pointless, nicht wahr? So I tweaked the State rather than the number.
And if you go to the Michigan DMV website, you can confirm that "R53 JCW" has been claimed, but curiously enough, "R52 JCW", "R54 JCW", "R53 JCV" and "R53 JCX" are all still available.

I rather suspect the state officials that concern themselves with trivialities like license plates, parking and, er, traffic enforcement would fail to see the humor in it though.
