I'm 21, paid cash for my '07 MCS 10 months ago. These threads always inevitably become about money. Everyone is always shocked that people under 25 have cars in the Mini price range. As for me, between having continuous employment for the last 7 years (while in school) and taking my time to find a good deal (shopped around for 5 months) it wasn't that much of a stretch for me.

5'7" and 115 here. The way I've always looked at it is that being 50lbs lighter than the next guy means that my car is 50lbs lighter when loaded out .

elpappy I like how your mini is sitting nice and low in your sig, we have the same color except I have chili red/white... your mini gives me an idea of how low it'll sit with the stock S-winders and Mach V springs...

SPUNKY: It sits really low! My Gallery has some high rez pics of it. You can't roll a soda can under the front of my car in some places. Once you accept that your going to be scraping that $20 piece of plastic on almost every driveway it's really not that bad. Its how the R56 should have looked from the factory. If you need any more info feel free!

The Mach V springs are great, but after 6 months with them I am ready for something lower, I'll probably be getting myself coilovers for christmas.
