I thinks we all deserve medals. My mom rode in my chili red cabrio for the first time. She's from Detroit. She wanted to know what the big deal was about the car. It wasn't any different than riding in a Saturn. I had to refrain from throwing out the window because she is already in a wheel chair. I tried to explain to her the camaderie amongst MINI owners and she said I already belonged to a church. WHERE"S my MEDAL?

 

...hmm...has it been 4-6wks? Has the medallion appeared from tibet yet.

So is it over? I go to the site, but can't ever find a place to enter my VIN. It would sure **** me off after all this to not be able to get the final prize :impatient

After requesting a "Black Box" from MINIUSA over the Thanksgiving holiday, I finally received it today!--eight weeks by my count. Too bad I already used a "work-around" to find the secrets. I'm still waiting for that last prize though.

 

I never got a box...at least not one with THOSE contents. Where in miniusa.com do you request one??

 

Since I bought my MINI in September (after the campaign started), I e-mailed MINI USA through the Owner's Lounge with my name, address, and VIN. They responded fairly fast with a follow-up e-mail, but like I said, the Black Box took about eight weeks to get to me.

 

Woo Hoo!!! I just got mine today. The medallion is made out of metal with a metal chain. Has a some heft to it. It comes in a nice folder.

Got my medalion. . . here it is for those of you who haven't seen it. . .

 

Got mine today but I'm worried. It weights about 1.234 ounces and they recommend mounting it in your car. DO you think I should remove while racing to save weight?

 

Good point! And the recommended location, way up by the rear view mirror is certainly going to raise the CG. Tradeoffs, there are always tradeoffs.:impatient
