What else could I have named him?

 

I don't have her yet, so to pass time I decided to find the perfect name. I always liked the name Lucy, but then I stumbled upon the name Suki on 1000topbabynames website (yes I know it is very sad that I looked at a baby name website for my car). It means beloved in Japanese, and I've always loved Asian cultures and will definitely love my car, so it just seems like the perfect name for me

 

My MCS is waiting at the port in Southampton, but I'm considering naming him "Desmond" or "Hurley". Yes, I'm a big fan of LOST!

 

I'm still thinking of a name for mine...I'm trying to decide on a girls name that sounds like she could show you a good time any ideas?

 

Cody, don't worry. I did the same thing. But I looked up British baby names. Talk about OCD'ing. And I STILL can't get any shipping info!!!!

Reggie, which typically is short for Reginald -- although that DEFINITELY is not the name. Like others, 'cos it sounds British.

No Name Here. Not a fan of naming vehicles. I love them, but can't bring myself to naming them...... Kind of like naming nether regions.... Just can't do it. :D

Well, that's ok...if you read parts of this thread (and others) carefully, lots of other Mini-owners didn't believe in it, either...until the car had something to say about it. And it's not like you have to USE the name all the time to refer to it...I mean...that might sound weird or something...

 

Yeah, I'm really liking "Desmond" at this point. Of course, I need to meet the rascal before I officially name him. And it seems he is indeed a rascal, as he is refusing to board a ship, while he's been at the port for a week now.

oh, NO...cars - especially Minis - can be boys. Sometimes they won't tell you their gender (like mine ), but they'll tell you their name.

Yes...GEAR SHIFT...that's what "he's" got...

 

Mine is definitely a female, but she has a gear shift too!! ut oh... is she a... lol

 

I named mine Winston. A good British boy name.
