I agree Plin, that's far too much money. Talk to Mike with Aesthetic Creations and you'll be in good shape. He's a great guy and willing to work with you for whatever you need. Not too costly either, always a bonus.

Okay, here are some temporary pictures with the stripes - please note the "wet" look.

Hey how many are going to MTTS 08 in Miami? How about a peerage (at least southern portion) photo? I will only be there for Friday, but we could get together for a pic

EDIT: will be there all day saturday now instead...driving down early saturday

Thanks - did you notice how SebM has the stripes running over the air intake - I kind of like that.

SebM - were those done by the dealer?

Yes, done by the dealer... but helped with a "sticker specialist"... as I put in black all "chrome" which are just below the windows...

I like it - is it cut between the bonnet and the "air scoop" or does it cross over the gap inbetween? I have a few bubbles in mine and the dealer will be re-applying them - I need to decide which way I want it.

As English is not my mother language, I prefer to post a picture of the front... I like as it is on my car... but if you have doubt, try to modify my picture with photoshop

Thank you - it looks like they have a space between the air scoop and the bonnet. I highlited the area, if you are curious.

OK... I saw... I have to check on my car... I think that it is a visual effect of the stripe on the picture as effectively the air scoop is a separate part of the bonnet... (I hope that you understand my english )

I am so excited and happy to report that on 6/9 I ordered my new baby "Dash" a PW MCS...I am so looking forward to being part of this community. My 4Runner will be parked alongside Dash in the garage. Any words of advice/wisdom with respect to my new acquisition???

Hey,

I never got a response to my request to be #2408 of the peerage. Hence, I respectfully and humbly submit my second request for admission to the esteemed peerage.

As for the stripes, I have yet to make a decision. My MA is at the MTTS in Miami but I will discuss my dilemma with her when she returns.

Go go tiger!

One thing I may also discuss with my MA is the possibility of exchanging my chrome mirrors for the original black mirrors. I've always liked chrome, but reading NAM it has become apparent that I am in a small minority for having that opinion. I still like the chrome on the boot handle, but maybe the chrome mirror is too much? Perhaps it would also negatively affect the re-sale value to have the chrome mirrors?... Decisions decisions...

If the mirrors are being put on at the dealership then just ask them to give you your black mirrors too. I ordered a carbon fiber hood scoop when I configured the car, and it was an accessory installed at the dealer. I told them to make sure I got the original white scoop. I figure I paid for it... Plus, I could sell it in the future, paint it a different color, or just reinstall it if I get tired of the carbon fiber.

As for how many folks like chrome on the boards, I say go for what you want, it's your dollar (lots of them) and your ride! Make yourself happy in it!

No need for being respectful or humble, just give me a whack upside the head. I was so focused on the stripes issue I completely overlooked your request. Both sorry and granted.

Is this thread going to be the PW Clubman Club or is there one already besides the Peerage?

From what I have been told it's this or the Peerage one. I thought we should have a clubman only one also as I only visit the local forum and the clubman one.
