Seeking Recommendations for Mini Cooper Tires

Hey folks,

I'm in the market for a new set of tires for my Mini Cooper, but I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the options out there. I'm looking for something that offers a good balance of performance, durability, and affordability. Any Mini owners out there who can recommend a specific brand or model of tires that they've had success with? I'd love to hear about your experiences and any advice you might have.
I also check this: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...-the-best.htmlgcp But I have not found any solution.

Thanks in advance!

I just had Sumitomo HTR P03 tires on my Clubman. I went with OEM size of 205/45-17. I had these tires installed to the wife's CX-9 last year, and have been very pleased with them on the big SUV. So far, after ~2500 miles, I am pleasantly surprised with these on the Mini. They have a treadwear rating of 540, so should give a few years of usability. However, they also seem to have good grip on the road, even with my stage 2 tune power level. So far, they ride pretty quiet, too, both on the CXS-9 and the Mini.

I have General G-Max As-05 tires on my R52S and have been happy with them. I only drive the car in the summer. I've had them for at least 4 years and at the time of purchase they were a good balance of performance and price.

They are up to the AS-07 now. Those were my second choice. I got a slightly better deal on the Sumitomo tires from a local shop.

The past 16 years I've gone to the local independent tire dealer for replacements and he's put on what ever brand he's had handy and I've never had a complaint.

Have two sets of 17x7 wheels:
OEM and Enkei PF01
Michelin PS4S in the summer,
Ice-x or Blizzak WS90 in the winter.
215/45/17 either way.

Depending on where you're located, you might need all season tires. Continental Extreme Contact DWS would be an excellent choice in that department. If you can run summer tires all year round, consider their Extreme Contact DW tires. The only drawback I've noticed is that they get noisy when their tread is approaching the wear bars. Otherwise, excellent performance, durability, and value in my experience.

Do you need all-season or all-weather?
