Walking In LA

I't been years since I moved from LA.
But - REALLY? - $8+/gal for reg ??? (not sure what $premo$ is going for).
My 04 R53 averages 23-24mi/gal = daily driven-city/hwy. As long as the SC isn't singing for too long (but what's the fun in that?)...
Nobody walks in LA!
.....unless they run out of gas.

Perhaps she's also right.

I was stuck in 5pm traffic yesterday. It was 93°.
I could almost literally watch my gas gauge drop!
Started having flashbacks of sitting in traffic on the 405.

When the needle lit the red mark; I nearly considered getting out and walking the rest of the way.

93 octane running a solid $5.74 in Florida. My boat is parked until this settles down. Seems somebody wants us all to buy electric cars or something.

I wouldn't mind an electric Mini.
I would almost settle for Flintstone's power if gas prices go much higher.

My wife drives a Tesla Model S and while its perfect for her it would never do for me. I put over 30K a year on car for work. Again, perfect for her though and fun to drive zoom zoom in but that's about it. Can you even imagine trying to keep that heavy girl between the paint? Nightmare. Does Fontana even have Super Chargers LOL?

Just paid $6.69 at Chevron for Premium. C'est la vie...

At least, I'm not driving a big SUV.
