Question for anyone who can help

Hi, I was looking up 0-60 times out of curiousity because my CMS ALL4 feels like it pulls pretty hard to me, but I'm finding out I'm nowhere near the quoted 0-60 times I should be, like it takes 10 seconds. I live up in northern Colorado so I'm wondering if 5000 ft elevation is the root cause? My car does have a catless DP and intake without a tune but I don't think it would make the car that much slower, so it would have to be elevation right? Would love to hear your guys' thoughts.

Happy motoring!

That elevation could make a big difference in your 0-60 times. Manufacturer's times are conducted at sea level, or close to it, where the air is much denser.

What IS the altitude that you are doing your 0-60 runs.
How are you measuring it ?

Altitude is typically 6000ft, sometimes 5000 depending on where I am in Colorado. Measuring using the Torque app via Bluetooth adapter, but have also stopwatched it

What wheels are you running and can you see your boost levels?

It's the altitude. I'm at 6,500 ft (NM) and wife has a '13 coupe, no turbo. It's a dog. My S is fast but it's a twin turbo. Even with the turbo, it isn't as quick as it is at lower altitudes. Try your times on the east side of Denver, or better yet Kansas. In Florida or Galveston they scream at sea level. Less O2, less speed. That is why 91 octane is the highest octane at elevations, higher octane does nothing at high altitudes. Just be thankful you have a turbo.
PS The Eventuri intake DOES make a difference on the S.

Can't 100% remember wheels, most likely stock R17 wheels because the rims are the split 5 spoke OEM Black Mini wheels. As for boost, I peak around 16-17 psi

Kind of what I assumed, just didn't think the hit on performance would be that much. Still peppy and enjoyable for sure, was just curious as to why I could find stock 0-60s for other people around the 7-second range and could not achieve that myself. Mostly wanted to make sure nothing was wrong with my car producing power lol

I still don't think it should be 10 seconds. I did a ~7 second pull with my unmodified '06 Forester 2.5XT near Estes park, elevation ~7500 feet, and that's about a second off the published figures for the car, not three seconds.
