I'm thinking about attending the last two legs of the MTTS this year. I'm a first time MINI owner so I haven't been before. For those of you that have, what can we expect? What kind of events do they put on at the individual stops?
my friend and I will most likely go. We live in the SF Bay Area and will most likely take a route that takes us through Yosemite and then down the eastern side of the Sierras on our way to Vegas. Any MINI people from the Bay Area interested in caravaning down to Vegas together? We could meet somewhere central and drive to Vegas as a group. I think it could be fun!
I also wonder what events are like and what the crowd is like.
We like the idea of driving around with a bunch of Minis, but not sure if we'd feel welcomed w couple of teen/preteen kids, or if there are any events that aren't purely drinking/partying.
We're considering starting in Richmond and drive around for a few days. Would love to do the whole thing, but could only do it if I didn't have to work.
Done them all since 2006+ . Its lots of fun, book your hotels early. Bring snacks, Most major cities and meets will have some event held with free food and special VIP events, its over the top , like one year for fourth of July hung out with the DC crowd on top of the Museum party room watching the fireworks over the capital building.

Multiple tracks like Indy speedway , Charlotte Speedway, Road America, i helped plan events in the past.
Find people on here and the FB site , meetup and plan to drive with hundred of owners waving there hands at you

We plan on doing the whole route of Mini Takes the States 2016, But with regret we will be skipping North Carolina, with there new Anti-Gay Discrimination Laws now passed, we can not give our money or support it. I would hope mini takes the states change there stop to another state that is not as discrimintory, and anit gay as North Carolina.
