Well with this winter my MINI stayed in the garage. So I think its right around 1200-1500 miles. Not many..lol Don't get me wrong Im dying to drive it but man did they really salt the heck out of the roads around here..sooo horrible! But spring is here so very soon I will be behind the wheel again!

Damn, you guys. I thought I was keeping my miles low. Of course, I have a 35 mile commute so twice a week and then some weekend driving, adds up. We had a brutal winter here too but I only got surprised by wet, salty roads once while driving the new one. Of course, it got washed right away.

It only rains four days a year there. What's your excuse ? Of course, I believe I remember you saying you work from home.

Ha ha on a normal winter I would have drove it! But this winter was by far the worst ive ever seen. Not only did we get record snow fall but we also got record bellow temps..lol. Heck I even had to change the oil in the snow blower to a synthetic just so I could pull it over to start it! lol

Short trips aren't good for it. Make sure you stretch his legs out at least every now and then. Road trip to the east coast would do the trick. We could have the First Annual Gotters Road Rally this summer.

Yeah, this was a winter I'll never forget but wish I could. Damn, if we ever have another like it, I'm moving to Arizona. Thinking about it anyway. A bunch of positions will be opening up within my company there in the next year or so. Giving it serious consideration. Operations are in Tempe.

Next Winter, I think we crash SG's place for a couple weeks in January. Of course, I may be living down there by then.

Yeah, I'm really going to have to keep pitching Arizona to my other half. The cost of housing there is incredible too. Houses I see for $400,000 in the Tempe/Chandler area would cost $700,000 around here.

My single story in Chandler is about 3100sq ft. Current value is probably $450ish

Yep.... very reasonable. Chandler is one of the suburbs I would be looking at for a home. Looks like a fairly easy commute to Tempe from there. Looks like a nice area too. We don't need a very big home, my teenager leaves for the Air Force in July. Just need three or four car garage and those seem pretty plentiful out there.

Oh, it's a gated community as well. The area I live in Chandler is the Ocotillo area. New roads and businesses everywhere. That's why everything is within 5 min. Yes, Tempe is city just North and West of here. Downtown Tempe is 20 min with no traffic. Southern Tempe is 12-15 min. Home Depot, Lowes, new Target, theaters, tons of restaurants, freeways, grocery, you name it. All 5 min or less away

Update on Everything All at Once

Just 4,100 miles on my JCW, and my office bathroom still has that new-car smell because of the new-car smell air freshener hanging under the sink. It snowed here today. Really enjoyed the Scottsdale and Carefree areas on vacation last fall, but I couldn't live there - not enough green. However, a month or so at SG's place next winter sounds good.

Ugh...I'm quite envious of everyone's low mileage...I have more than all of you combined since August!

SG and all: I call dibbs on the queen bed.

01: You could look at it this way: You've had more FUN than the rest of us combined.
