3" Straight Pipe With No Mufflers (video)

The exhaust will not be staying like this for much longer but here's a quick highway entrance shot with my GoPro Hero HD3. Right now the exhaust consists of a 3" straight pipe all the way back. No mufflers.

Hey mike, I remember you from your days on saabcentral! How have you been? I remember a story about you outrunning some cops during school or something, pretty crazy!

Do you still live in VA? I'm from Richmond, but live in KY now.

Thanks! The backfiring is my favorite part for sure. I am currently DD'ing it and will be for a couple more days. It is super fun now but I know it's not something I could realistically live with. Check back today for a new video I will be posting in here. It's just a short cruise so people can see what it sounds like under normal driving conditions.

*Correction! The car actually does NOT have a custom resonator (yet). It's just a 3" straight pipe all the way back. No mufflers.

That sounds like it still has a CAT on it. Am I right? Oh it's an R53. Forgot what form I was in.

In case you're still interested, yes it has the factory cat still in place.

Any videos? I'm curious. This thing is insanely loud.

I don't, I put a muffler on it a couple weeks ago. I should of said I "had" a 3" straight pipe.

That makes sense. This will be getting a custom resonator soon. Hopefully that will tone it down a bit.
