Need help - what does mls mean

When I start my mini

I get a picture of the car and then
Mls 2800
A clock looking icon and 11/2013

Then it gives me the total miles and a little hazard triangle comes up and goes away.

Does this make sense to anyone ? I did a search and couldn't find anything.

Thanks !

I will bet if you latch your seatbelt before starting the car this light won't come on.

It's the countdown for service. You have 2800 miles left or the date, whichever comes first.

Egads, no. Those things make sense. First rule of being male: If the instructions can solve your problem, consult the internet. LOL I do it all the time.

First. I'm a girl.

Third. You guys were so kind and helpful. So thank you

That should of been the 1st clue to being a girl. Unless you are happy. I have never heard of a man naming is car after a man.

I figured that was the case with your manual. Obviously I was wrong about the first thing. If the dealer doesn't provide it, you can order one through Mini I'm sure or get one on eBay if you really want one.

I bought 2 hand books for cars in my fleet on e-bay: best money I ever spent. Some wreckers keep the hand books in the office. I never saw the value in keeping a hand bookk without the car to match.
