Noticed lately in the mornings when it's colder I hop into the MINI and when I drive the sunroof rattles. Is this a common thing? Is there anything I could possibly tighten? It really doesn't bug me, I can just turn the music on and I won't hear it but it is a little weird because I don't notice it during the day time as it warms up. Any ideas?

 

Yeah, it's pretty normal. I read a post here by someone who spoke to a tech about it, they were told "They all either leak or rattle... be glad yours rattles."

 

A sunroof rattle usually is indicidive of it needing to be greased.
A good lubing will tighten things up, and get of of the rattle...or the most common ones...
