How far do you live from your MINI dealer?

I live about thirty miles from my MINI dealer, but I've see posts in which people mention that they live two hundred miles away from the nearest dealer!

How far do you live from the nearest MINI dealer?

Dave

31 miles to Mini of Sterling my preferred dealer...Passport is only 14 miles away. I bought at Sterling before Passport opened and I still prefer it because if they're outta mini loaners you can get a nice BMW.

9 MINI dealers within 40 miles. Closest (and preferred - where I bought Fred) is MINI of Monrovia, about 12 miles away.

Does the farthest away win a prize? That might be someone in Montana, but Idaho, Wyoming, and North and South Dakota don't have dealers either. Meanwhile, those in a half dozen or so large US metro areas get to pick among several nearby dealers.

My closest dealer is about 85 miles away in another state. We visited it once, while driving home from a beach vacation.

For me it's 225 miles to the only dealer in OR.
Next closest is 280 miles in CA.
You can go to the miniusa site in the Shop menu and do the dealer locator to see a map of all the dealers in the US.

It's really a bummer that BMW dealers will not at least do the routine free maintenance like oil changes and such. There is a BMW dealer about 25 miles away from me.

1.5 miles to Midwestern Auto Group (MAG) in Dublin, OH! I think they may even be planning to move in the next year or so to the newly expanded MAG facility over on Perimeter....then they would be about 1 mile away! :>
Reading some of the posts from folks who have a drive on their hands makes me additionally thankful....it's easy to take for granted when they're right around the corner.

I think I might be the winner.. I live three blocks from my dealer. For the record, I don't live in a concrete wasteland, MINI just set up shop right by a tree-lined neighbourhood near the ocean.

I live in VT and the nearest dealer is in Boston, about 200 miles from me. There is a new MINI dealership opening end of August in NH that will be about 150 miles.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who will drive these distances for a MINI!

It's around 180 miles for me too...over 2.5 hours. It really sucks too because I have had problems with mine (the HK stereo) and the dealer has it now for repairs. Makes for a LONG day when you have to take the car there and then come home.

Would be half that if there was a direct route.

According to Mapquest 16.37/mi., but in October MINI of Portland will be moving to their own location and will no longer be part of BMW Portland, I'm guessing that distance will at least double after they move.

The greater Seattle area used to only have one dealer, and that was a good 45-50 minute freeway drive. A second dealer opened only about 15 miles from where I live, which was one reason I decided to buy a Mini after much earlier debate. Strangely enough, I ended up buying from the dealer that was farther away from me. Better salespeople.
